The Radiology Department
The Radiology Department was founded in 1946. Its directors were all well-known radiologists. With a batch of domestically renowned experts and professors, the Department is responsible for cultivating masters, doctors and postdoctors in medical imaging. Through unremitting efforts, the Department now has become a medical imaging department with function as radiology diagnosis and imaging-guided therapy. It boasts the world's most advanced MDCT, MR, DSA, DR and digital mammography. It is the first radiology department to use PACS/RIS system in the Asia.
The Radiology Department implements the strict double check policy for image interpretation and report, and the intervention SOP to ensure the quality of diagnosis and treatment. It is committed to providing the best medical service for the patients based on the "patient first" principle.
The Department now has 90 employees including 38 physicians, two supervisors for Ph.D., three supervisors for MHS, five chief physicians and 12 associate physician. 15 physicans have the MD. or Ph.D. title. It is responsible for cultivating five-year and eight-year medical students majored in radiology. It holds two national level continuing education conferences each year. The director of the Department is Dr.Han Wang, deputy director(Northern Branch) Dr.Xueqian Xie, and the Executive vice director Dr.Kangan Li.
